Installation problem

Good Morning,

I have a license to scanshare version 4.5 and need to install it on another computer.

When I try to install (Scanshare Setup v4.5.0.exe) I get the error: "The application ran into a problem that it couldn't handle. Sorry for the inconvenience. How can I solve the problem? Are my installation files corrupt?

 Hi Pierfrancesco,

 

the details of the error is very generic and general. The logs above are not helpful also because it is an installer stack trace.

...most likely something different about your new environment than the old/current one.

We suggest you to understand what is happening and what error really causes you to fail the installation follow these steps suggested in this post.

 

However you are using a very old version of the Scanshare, we are now at the version v5.22.03 cool

Just for information for specific issue and in order not to disclose data perhaps present in the logs in a forum, we suggest you contact your dealer first and if they "fail" to resolve your issue then they will contact us at our support directly.
