Good day

I have a customer with a Ricoh IM C6000 MFP and they are wanting to use Document Navigator with it.

However even after enabling the Ricoh option during custom installation, it is not available to select as a client.

The only MFP clients available for selection are Develop and Konica Minolta (I am using a trial license so it shouldn't be a license issue).

Is the Ricoh MFP client not available for selection because Document Navigator is re-branded for Konica Minolta?

If yes, how can I go about purchasing Scanshare Essentials / Enterprise in South Africa?

Hi Shaun,

the client types are filtered based on the installed license and the default Document Navigator license just has the OpenAPI modules (Konica and Develop). Yes Document Navigator supports all brands but in order to see the Ricoh client type (and any other) you need to request a license for it and specifically for Document Navigator you need to contact Konica Minolta.

Please note that the Ricoh support is currently limited, check inside our FAQ if the device falls inside a supported range. The new client supporting new models will be coming.

If you need any info about purchasing in general please contact our PO or support department.

Thank you.

Hi Luigi

Thanks very much, I have requested a Ricoh MFP client license from KMSA.
