Hello,

I want to know which filepath I have to exclude in my antivirus software if i don´t wont to deaktivate it as described in the artikel "How do I disable Windows Defender file scanning"
Is it just the installation Path "C:\programm files\document navigator" and maybe "C:\programData\Document Navigator" or are there more.

My problem is that some large scanns not get through my Workflow while smaler ones are processed. My customer don´t wont to deaktivate the whole antivirus software.

Thank you for your help!

Hi,

absolutely in Scanshare\DN you don't need to disable anything in your antivirus for it to work.

You just need to check the ports and services used:

Here the System Requirements too: https://help.scanshare.com/home/getting-started/system-requirements/

The FAQ you mentioned isn't for your reason, but on some systems at that time Defender would check our DLLs one by one during the web server app pool recycling phase, which would take a long time.

Maybe your problem is related to something else entirely. Have you checked the logs? Maybe something unexpected happened and the process crashed.

I suggest you use the latest version (always), set the logs to debug and try the two scans: the one that generates the problem and the one that doesn't.

Send logs, workflow and maybe original input of your NOC support with a description of your steps to replicate the issue too and they for sure can help you also because they can open a ticket into our support too smile.

Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Luca
