Hello Scan Share Team,

the Konica Minolta bizhub can scan mixed originals, so the machine automatically detects what A3 and what is A4 and adjusts the scan result accordingly.

here is a link from the manual:
https://manuals.konicaminolta.eu/bizhub-C658-C558-C458-C368-C308-C258/EN/bizhub-c658-c558-c458-c368-c308-c258/contents/opkey_125_S.html?k=mixed%20original

Unfortunately, the Konica Minolta Connector does not provide this option. Is it still possible?
Thanks Buchberger

Hi Buchberger,

yes now it is only possible to do it in the native client by manually selecting the setting indicated into the "ScanSettings -> Mexed Original" before starting the scan, for example in this area:

However this setting "Mixed originals" has already been implemented and will be available in the next version cool.

Have a nice week!

Best regards,

Luca

Hi Luca,

Could you please confirm if this new feature is available on V4.11 and/or V5?

Many thanks.

Hi Joe,

unfortunately it is not yet available (perhaps in the May release) but you can always use it in the Native client as explained in my previous message.

Have a nice week!

Best regards,

Luca

Hi Luca,

Thanks mate for your quick response. No problem we will wait for the next release.

Unfortunately we can't use the native MFD feature in this case as we have 2 mandatory questions in the capture module to create two variables to meet the filing requirements of this customer. Can you think of any work around?

Thanks again. You have a nice week too.

Joe

Ok and More than welcome Joe!

mmm you can also use them questions on the MFP, the standard features of our native client are the same smile.

Remember that to use the native client just disable the web client setting into client settings and update the client pushing the changes.

Best regards,

Luca
