Hi,

I am working on a workflow for a potential customer. They would like to automaticly upload documents / the data cotained in them in to Sage. I have the option to export variabless to a CSV file, then the user can uplod this file into sage. This is not ideal though.

Is it possible to have connectors developed?

Hi Mike,

currently our connector supports Sage200c and it as you will know it does not load documents but only inserts data into customer and supplier invoices. This in our Connector can be done simply by entering the variables (for example of Zone OCR, Barcode or/and ...) without going through a CSV file.

NOTE: this connector does not store any documents (in fact no outprofile menu table is visible)

Have a nice week cool!

Best regards,

Luca

Hi Luca,

My licence does not have the Sage connector. Is there somewhere we can see all of the capture, process and store modules available?

My customer is using Sage 50 v25 - I assume this would not be compatible with the Sage200c connector?

Can you please confirm the Sage200c connector is not compatible with Sage50 (v25)?

Hi Mike,

just keep in touch innocent and read all our news letters or you will certainly find all your requests on the price list that you can request.

However I believe that your license is a NFR so you always have all the connectors enabled (also Sage200) so you just have to update to one of the latest versions and you will see between your connectors it too.

I confirm that Sage50 is different from Sage200c and therefore is not currently supported by the Scanshare connector.

Have a nice week!

Best regards,

Luca

Thanks Luca,

I will need to generate a CSV file for the customer to manually upload. I can see Excel (XLS) and Excel (XLSX) as output profile options. Can CSV files only be output using a script?

More than welcome Mike!

...and no for CSV files you can simply use a dataexport because A comma-separated values (CSV) file is a delimited text file that uses a comma to separate values. A CSV file stores tabular data (numbers and text) in plain text. Each line of the file is a data record. Each record consists of one or more fields, separated by commas. The use of the comma as a field separator is the source of the name for this file format.

So I guess you want to create the CSV file with variables ...

...if you have an existing CSV file or maybe you want to add lines to a previously created one, then you can select "append".

It should be very easy, in case of let us know innocent

Best regards,

Luca
