Hi, how are you? I’m having an issue with the SharePoint connector. It suddenly stopped working and threw a “403” error. I’ve updated to the latest version, and now when I enable the 365 tab, I see the oAuth and a PIN. I’m not sure how I should configure SharePoint and Scanshare to get it working again. Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot!

Hi, I’ve managed to get the SharePoint connector working again. It’s now running with OAuth and saving the documents correctly. However, the column metadata has changed, and it no longer matches the previous information. What could be causing this?
Hi Jorge,
Yes, your initial error was due to MS internally changing to a modern and secure standard, oAuth, which we had already implemented, but now MS has made it mandatory step by step.
In general we've had a lot of SharePoint updates in recent years, just look at our release notes.
If you were using an older version, you may need to recheck your workflow, as as mentioned above, there have been many internal SDK updates from MS.
We suggest you contact your dealer/reseller support first, so that they can open a support ticket if they don't know how to help you.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Luca
Hi Luca,
Thanks so much for getting back to me. We’ve been looking into it with our distributor and have been making some progress little by little. No one informed us about the security changes from Microsoft.
Best regards.
Hi Jorge,
you're welcome!
In general MS changes continuosly and developers always have to keep up with their changes
.
Have a nice rest of your day!
Best regards,
Luca
