All server and PC client versions are supported in virtual hardware environments, such as Microsoft Hyper-V, Sun Virtualbox and VMWare.
Additional requirements:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (required to be pre-installed)
All installers will check also the existence of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6***, if not installed it will be installed as pre-requisite before the main installation takes place.
The server is a web based application, hence requiring a web server which is built-in and installed as pre-requisite by the installers. The web server in use is: Ultidev WebServer Pro. No IIS requirement is necessary unless Kyocera embedded platform is in use (please check specific post).
* Only 64bits version support more than 2GB of RAM usage according Windows architecture
** Some OS are out of support cycle by Microsoft because out-dated, the support for those is just technical in line with Microsoft support policies for end of life OS versions
*** .NET Framework 4.6 support has been introduced since v4.9, all previous versions require .NET Framework 4.5
