Internet License Activation

Hi,

I have a customer who only allows temporary internet sharing. What release/web address do I need to give him for Scanshare (Document Navigator) to activate the license? It's a VM license.

 Hi Dietmar,

 

virtual licenses can only be activated online as already written in our help and manual activation section.

So there are two steps to follow in your case, if possible we always suggest the 2.:

  1. Contact your dealer or support to disable VM support 
  2. Expose the customer's environment online at least only for license activation, once activated then you can take the environment offline again.

Hi Luca,

Yes, I know that, but I need the URL or the IP address that Scanshare contacts during the licensing process so that my customer can release it.
