Hi,

I have a workflow that allows the user to add meta data and then the PDF and an XML file needs to be saved in a folder on another server. The server that scanshare is on has access to the folder and is a mapped drive. But when i open up  the windows file system workflow and browse it only shows local folders and not the network shares.

Im logged onto the server as a administrator and i can see the shared folders from the server.

Thanks

Hi Keith,

this is normal, drive letters in Windows are assigned to local drives or network drives. Network drives, however, are not allowed to be used in services because they are connected to user logon sessions (mounter when the user is logging in) and the services don't have any user logon sessions.

Network locations are commonly used always by UNC path when involved inside services (the one you call Unix based), e.g. you can use this inside the folder field:  \\SERVER\SHARE

Best regards,

Luca
