Scan to sharepoint with multi users

 Hello Scanshare team,

I have to create a WF, where users should select a sharepoint library or sharepoint folder from the MFP client.

The users will be OAuth users.

As i understand, to use the sharepoint connector for item list, we need the sharepoint site, the username (username@domain) and the PIN created at the moment of the creation of the OAuth user

I've created one OAuth user with a PIN.

If I configure the question with Sharepoint connector list, with fixed username@domain and fixed PIN, it's OK, i can select libraries on MFP screen (or folders depending the question configuration).

But how should i manage this with non fix value for username@domain and the PIN?

I've tried to create typing questions to enter these information and put the variable in the Sharepoint connector list in username and PIN fields, but the libraries (or folders) are not returned for selection on MFP screen (because username@domain and code PIN typed values are unknown by server at this step).

So how to manage this case?

(there is no authentication on MFP, no SSO, only on Capture & Store MFP client if needed)

Best regards

Stéphane

Hello,

I did additional tests, and i think there is an issue if a variable is used for OAuth PIN field in Sharepoint connector (item list and storage)

If username@domain as fixed value in connector config + PIN  as fixed value in connector config -> Ok

If usename@domain as variable + PIN as fixed value in connector config -> Ok

If username@domain as fixed value in connector config + PIN as variable -> Not working

If usename@domain as variable + PIN as variable -> Not working

I've tried typed variable type or password variable type for the PIN value, but it doesn't work.

Hi Stéphane,

it is the standard and common to all OAuths and it is normal that all users have their own Sharepoint and therefore their accesses.

Simply your Scanshare environment needs to know the users, therefore all users must be known to the server with their username and pin chosen by them during the cration of OAuth phase.

Here all usefull info for you:
